Before you start

• For tourists – Make sure you have your non criminal record appostealed from the police in your country of origin.
• See that you have warm recommendations from religious Jews attesting to your sincere plan to convert and follow the commandments.
• For tourists – an economic plan to live in Israel without Israeli work permit. (No need to present it to authorities – it's for your own benefit)

• Fill this form
• Make sure you have a copy of your passport or ID card and your spouce's (if exists) one as well.
• For Israeli spouse: obtain "Tamzit Rishum" (תמצית רישום מורחבת) extended registration extract from Israeli population and immigration authority. See example here.
  
  • Best to download the extended extract from your personal government internet site here.
  • You wil need to validate your Jewish status with your parents' Israeli marriage certificate. 
• Call regional court of conversion and make sure they submit your request 
•  Apper at interview with your non criminal record and good recommendations
• Hopefully recieve coommittee's approval to start conversion classes
• Study full course
• Appear at second interview for committee
• Hopefully recieve committee's approval for final court hearing
• Finally appear in front of court of conversion

  • Dipping in the mikvah
